This image is inspired by the invasion of Iraq and bringing an end to the Hussein regime of terror. I always enjoyed the image of the statue of saddam hussein in Bagdad being dismantled by the Marines that were there in March 2003. The spirit of The American to me is represented mostly by the rattlesnake with was almost of the american flag. The rattlesnake in the image represents the might of the Hussein regime coiling around and dominating over the principles and ideology dictatorships all around the world.
