Bomber PRINT

This piece is entitled "Bombers" and it is heavily inspired by WW2 bomber planes laying waste to the enemy by dropping a million tons of explosive munitions on the enemy to gain the upper hand. When initially drawing some bomber planes in a sketchbook I started to notice they almost resemble the shape of christ or someone with arms open ready to either embrace or to praise in worship. I further personified them by adding a grinning skull head where the nose of the aircraft would be and replacing the drop doors into a glowing chest cavity where their payload is being dropped from. It's like a message being sent down to the enemy, "This level of indiscriminate destruction comes straight from by dark, burning heart> And there are so many of us up here."
