Ive always been fascinated with WW1 along with the idea that the vikings had about warriors who died in battle. The ones who die in battle gat taken up to Valhalla by a valkerie so who doesn't think that awesome? This painting was done in honor of the 100 year anniversary of Armistice Day which later became Veterans Day after WW2.
